Reflections
What a year we’ve had! We just finished a wonderful Christmas sermon series, Home for the Holidays, praying that just as Jesus made home on earth as a baby, that He would “make home” in our hearts and lives this Christmas season.

Well, here we are, it’s almost the new year, can you believe it?
During Christmas time and New Years it’s natural to reflect on our year, our hearts, what’s unfinished, and what God has done…
What comes up for you as you begin to reflect?
Are there major shifts that stand out?
Areas of excitement or discouragement?
Areas where God came through you? Areas where you’re still waiting?
Wherever you are in your reflections and thoughts coming into 2025, know we’ve been so glad to journey alongside you as you follow Jesus.
And, as a church, we’re prayerfully stepping deeper, looking for Jesus to be our leader in every aspect from top to bottom. And praying that He would be formed in us, calling us deeper into the love and embrace of our Good Father this New Year (Ephesians 4:12-13).
I’m praying that you know and experience His presence in this last week of the year! That He’d meet you in the breath of space between 2024 and 2025…
And may you experience “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit” (2 Corinthians 13:14 ) as you navigate the New Year.
See you Sunday!
Pastor Dave
PS. This Sunday, we welcome back my friend, Jeremy Bouris, who is a pastor, preacher, and the Director of the Bayside Counseling Center in Sacramento. He has a tender heart for Jesus and deep experience in walking alongside those who are following him in a variety of seasons. Let’s prayerfully open our heart to whatever the Lord might say through his preaching this Sunday.
