Gifted Homework?

This week I uttered a strange statement during the Equipping Hour…”you have homework!”.

It wasn’t the normal charge—to put into practice what the Lord has given to us in message or class in the ACE—it was actual reading/writing/arithmetic stuff!

You see, as we are in “Bestowed”, our series on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we have work to do on our part.

God the Holy Spirit by His love, grace and generosity has given each of us something special, supernatural and beyond ourselves…a spiritual gift (or many).

Our part is to “open it up” through discovery and then put it into practice and mature it with Him.

Click here for an assessment tool (a good first step to discerning your gift/s) that you can print out, read, write on and tabulate (that’s the math part).

We will be sharing these with one another to confirm, question and develop them.

One of my great joys as a pastor over the years is helping people become all that the Lord has designed them to be.

I hope you’ll do you part to take these tests, process with one another in discovery and exercising your gifts and ultimately find your sweet spot inside and outside of the church to further God’s Kingdom.

Also, here is a link for the SHAPE materials we are going through in the Equipping Hour.

There are many other similar websites like freeshapetest.com or videos to watch online also.

Have at it!
