The Never Ending Series

I can’t believe Jesus 1.0 series is over, can you?!

We started the series back in December as we celebrated Advent, and now we’ve witnessed Jesus ascend, leaving his disciples behind to wait on the coming promise of the Father (the Holy Spirit).

The beautiful thing about a sermon series like Jesus 1.0 is it is never ending.

• Yes, of course, we’re not always going to be preaching about Jesus…but wait, we are!

• Of course, we’re not going to be always harmonizing his words to their context…wait, we are!

• But there’s no way we’re going to continue to discover gems of insight from his word like this…wait, we will!
  

So though we’re wrapping up this 6 month series, we’ve really fallen into the actual Never Ending Story! (or Series!)

And this Summer we’re launching a new series called, Summer in the Spirit.

In this series, we’ll discuss the continuing work of the Holy Spirit and how he leads us closer to Jesus in practical, everyday ways.

It can be hard to understand the Holy Spirits work.

We sometimes picture him as a force, a cloud, a presence…but a person?

Yes, the Holy Spirit is God—the Third Person of the Trinity. Want to know more?

• You may come hungry.

• You may come confused.

• You may come ready for fire!

• You may come dry as bones.

No matter what, this series will reintroduce you to that “Person of the Holy Spirit” that Jesus just couldn’t stop talking about before he ascended.
