Gratefulness
Dear HSCC,
I’m writing this as I am about to head out the door on our trip to Israel. Thank you for your prayers for us as we travel. We hope to be safe, have a great time and of course have wonderful experiences with the Lord as we walk where He walked.
As I think of our church I want you all to know how special it was for me this past Sunday. So many things were happening at once—allow me to review them now.
The tech team went nuts. It was so fulfilling to see their planning, hard work and creativity come to fruition. We have great lights, sound, video …and an even better team of dedicated, skilled and caring people to run them.
I got to share my love of science and theology in a way to encourage us to participate in spreading the Kingdom. Simple and effective was the sense I got in living out these truths.
Joe was emotional in leading us in worship—Isn’t it great to love God with your whole heart?
Andrew Trowbridge, represented the Kingdom of God well to our city and so many of our church supported him.
Maria used her gifts of compassion to help care for a family in the crisis of cancer diagnosis.
Families (lots of kids) were buzzing around the church and in the ACE.
George taught us in the Equipping Hour how to recognize health and see God’s hand in it all.
Our community of faith participated in worship and teaching and fellowship the whole morning.
Grateful for you all—see you when we get back!
Pastor Danny
