All The Good Things
“I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ.”
Keri shared this verse in our staff meeting this week. It was a powerful time together as we listened to the Word, to each other and the Holy Spirit as we digested this passage together.
I challenge you to read it several times, allowing different key words to sink in, settle and then leak out into your everyday life.
I’ve heard several comments about bananas this week regarding the illustration in our sermon.
It struck a chord because it was funny, true ...and sobering. Bananas have a shelf life and so do we.
Another thought popped up as we studied this verse in Philemon together:
The fruit we produce through abiding in Christ, (the fruit of the Spirit) if not shared, will rot and go to waste!
We all love receiving blessings from God—we ask Him for blessings, enjoy blessings…I gotta remember to share those blessing with other people!
