Back in the Saddle

I’m back in the saddle—after a great vacation of rest, recreation and renewal.

Thank you for the time away, Maria and I had a great time together with family, friends, and each other. I’ll share a bit on Sunday.



While coming back from a long vacation is often dizzying (yes that was my experience) and an adjustment, it is also encouraging.

• I have heard some neat stories and activities that have happened in my absence.
  
  

• I’m reminded again of our opportunities as a church specifically planted on the westside of Santa Cruz.

• I've reconnected with leaders, staff and volunteers I serve alongside.
  
  

• I’m also excited to share what God has put on my heart for our church this fall in our series “Small World”.
  
  

• And I just love the Fall season of weather on the Central Coast. Plenty to be grateful for. How about you?

I hope to see you on Sunday—inside, outside or online.

And we get to welcome back the UCSC students—finally back on campus. :)
