Gifts for EVERYONE!

This Sunday at 11am, there’s an exciting event for everyone who attends HSCC—the Ministry Fair!

Now many of you have been to a “market fair” or “county fair” but this event is strategically placed at the end of our Bestowed sermon series—why, you ask?

Well, because we’ve spent months now, considering what the Apostle Paul says, “Of the spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed”, this means the spiritual gifts are crucial aspects to a full and flourishing Christian walk.

• We’ve studied the types and kinds of gifts God gives us, from natural gifts, to roles, to callings, to specialized supernatural gifts when His Spirit distributes them in a community.

• We’ve also begun to have organic conversations about the gifts, noticing our gifts, the gifts of others, beginning to celebrate theirs and own ours on a more personal level.

• We’ve even processed the unique ways God has formed and made us to partner with His Holy Spirit in our SHAPE class.

But now, we’re setting aside this Sunday to literally display in living color the ministry life of High Street Community Church in our Ministry Fair. Each ministry has set up a dynamic table where they’re share about their goals and missions, talk about needs and callings, and, most importantly, make connects regarding gift-sets they’re looking for in their ministry.

So, we’re encouraging everyone to come to this event. If you’re on a team, if you’re on two teams, if you’re not on any teams! If you’re young, old, or in-between! Come to the Ministry Fair!

Come ready to learn about how God is moving at HSCC in a unique way, ready to have significant conversations with a variety of ministries here, and open to discern with the Holy Spirit where He might be leading, shifting, shaping, and guiding you in your role and time at High Street.

It’s going to be a time of fun, memories, and prizes (yes, there are prizes!)
