Whose the Fairest Ministry of them All? (Clue: it’s all of us!)

Okay, if you missed our Ministry Fair—I’m not saying you missed out (We don’t want to trigger any FOMO PTSD for those youngin’s) but…it was super fun!

Here are some initial reflections on our time together:

First of all, the ministry table decorations were amazing! Check out the photos in this blog and you’ll see just how much effort, time, and heart that our teams put into their tables.

Secondly, seeing each of your smiling faces there, snacking on goodies, playing games, laughing, having intentional and informal conversations, darting around the room trying to “Find Someone Who…” (Just to be clear, no, you can’t get a person to sign it twice! ;) , sticking folks with the Youth clothespins (genius idea), watching giggling kiddos knocking over and fixing the moving train at the Kid’s table, gulping down excellent coffee, or seeing the passion, honesty, and joy that was shared around the room, was over the top! It’s almost too long to record (you can tell by that excellent run on sentence you just exited).

Lastly, I was personal impacted watching the ministry teams themselves own their area of ministry with such fun, humility, hospitality, and joy!

Each ministry team seemed like such a great team to join! And I know the bonding and creativity that went on had to deepen our roots in each team and sharpen our focus.

My prayer is, whether there were new sign ups for volunteers or not, that you not only had fun (which I’m sure you did), but that you were also impacted and drawn to the vivid picture of our church life, which is a picture of God’s Life among us. How amazing is it that he uses so many of us in so many unique ways.

And if you found a place for your spiritual gift, or had an eye opening conversation, or discovered a new category for expressing ministry in your life—then praise God—let’s continue to have these sorts of collaborative conversations as we go forward!

And may the Life of God be multiplied among us, as we seek to honor Him in all the ways He flows through us!
