Mornings of the Roundtable

Last Sunday we launched out series “We Still Believe” with the PLT roundtable discussion as the main part of the “sermon”.

I’ve only heard positive comments from that time together.

Wasn’t it great to hear some of the “why’s” and “how’s” and “what ifs?”.

While I was glad so much wisdom poured out from Frank, Linda and Norm (aka Obi Wan, Leia, Yoda), I also loved another part of the experience.

I get to spend regular time with these 3 and we’ve gotten to know one another pretty well.

I felt this past Sunday was a chance for our church congregation to get to see the pastoral hearts of the Pastoral Leadership Team.

Their love for the Lord, our church and the community was so apparent.

Aren’t you glad they are key leaders in our church?

We finished the service with Joe leading us in singing the song called “This I Believe-- the Creed” where we poured out of our hearts many of the beliefs contained in our Statement of Beliefs.  A great song for a great time in our church.

Our hope is that we will also sing this song better with our minds as we journey through all 6 statements.

Remember, Jesus calls us to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30).

Dave will start us this Sunday with a message on our position regarding the Bible.

I’m looking forward to being encouraged and challenged—hope to see you then.
