Where’s My Peace?

This morning I was feeling "off"…some tiredness, discouragement and the weight of the many responsibilities and cares of life.

A friend shared with me a similar incident he’d had a few days earlier and captured it with the phrase, “Danny, I’d lost my peace!!”

Do you ever feel like that?

I was stuck by the simplicity and veracity of his phrase.

Jesus offers us peace..and when we don’t sense it—something is off.

This morning the Spirit brought to my mind a passage in Hebrews 4, verses 14-16. I’ll just leave it here and trust the Lord will use it help you in time of need.

The pathway to finding our peace again.

Read it slowly, meditate and discuss it with God.

Enjoy:

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
